Update on Tuesday, January 4th:

  • Hard drive update - Our contractor now has possession of the Glasser Images hard drives and is preparing up to access and upload images for sharing. Please keep in mind that there are thousands of folders located on multiple hard drives, so this will take some time to organize.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Images can only be shared from the hard drives if:
      • You were paid for photographing your event,
        OR
      • You would like for us to deliver the files directly to your clients. In this case, you'll need to give us permission via a written release. It’s our understanding that if you were not paid for photographing the event, the copyright of the photos remains with you, and you are under no obligation to allow us to release the photos directly to the client. However, if you wish to provide us with permission to release, please contact us at
  • If you were not paid for photographing the event, no longer have a copy of the files, and wish to work directly with the client for image delivery, please let us know and we will attempt to transfer any files that we find on the Glasser Images hard drives to you directly.

Update on Tuesday, December 28th:

  • We have no new updates to share since our last post. We'll be back next Tuesday before 5pm ET. In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday!

Update on Friday, December 17th:

  • In response to reports that we've heard regarding people receiving reactivated galleries that don't belong to them, we've created this article to help explain what happened. It's important to note that we have yet to find any evidence that any reactivated gallery was accessed by anyone who did not previously have access to it.
  • We'll post updates here on Tuesdays only for the next two weeks, in observance of the holidays.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 12/21.

Update on Tuesday, December 14th:

  • We understand that this is the busiest time of the year for many of you, and we're grateful for anything you’re willing to do to connect families with their photos. If you don't have the bandwidth to help right now, we understand and will try to connect with you again in the new year.
  • If you are unable to commit to working directly with the families you photographed for Glasser Images, we understand that, too. We simply want to give you the first opportunity to connect directly with them, to provide editing services, etc. Please let us know if you cannot commit to working directly with the families you photographed, and we'll continue to work with Glasser Images to try to locate their files on their hard drive(s) when they’re accessible.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 12/16.

Update on Friday, December 10th:

  • We've not been able to access the files from the Glasser Images hard drive(s) yet, so in an effort to connect the end customers with their images as soon as possible, we’re encouraging you to work directly with the end customer to edit and/or deliver their files. If you don't wish to edit the files, you can also deliver unedited RAW images to the clients so that they can obtain their own editing services. In the meantime, we'll continue working with Glasser Images to try to access files on the hard drive(s).
  • If you would like to use ShootProof galleries to deliver JPEG files and do not already have an account, please reach out to us at  so we can provide you with an account free of charge for one year.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 12/14.

Update on Tuesday, December 7th:

  • If you have delivered files in any format to end customers, or if you no longer have files for any of the jobs that you photographed, please email  to let us know. We will be working with Glasser Images to try and locate any files that you no longer have, on their hard drive(s), once they’re able to access the drives.
  • A copyright release statement was delivered via email to all photographers and videographers on 12/3/21. If you did not receive the statement, here's a copy for your reference.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 12/10.

Update on Friday, December 3rd:

  • The release statement giving photographers and videographers the written permission to edit and/or deliver photo and video files was distributed to all photographers and videographers today.
  • For photographers that no longer have files from their jobs, we’re working with Glasser Images to attempt to locate these files on their hard drives
  • We're working with Freedom Edits to create a process for you to engage with them for jobs related to this project, if you'd like to outsource editing to them.

Update on Tuesday, November 30th:

  • The Glasser legal team is still working on a written release stating that you are able to work directly with end clients to edit and/or deliver images, and we will share it as soon as it’s available.
  • If you have delivered galleries directly to end clients for any jobs, please email  to let us know which ones, so we can update our records.
  • We hope to have pricing from Freedom Edits for culling/editing jobs related to this project this week.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 12/3.

Update on Tuesday, November 23rd:

  • All primary photographers have been emailed with next steps. If you believe you should have received an email and didn’t, please contact us at
  • The Glasser Images legal team is drafting a letter outlining your legal rights to offer editing services and share images directly with end clients.

No Friday update this week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our next update will be no later than 5pm on 11/30.

Update on Friday, November 19th:

  • We're almost finished reconciling the most recent records we received from Glasser Images. When this is complete, outreach to the remaining photographers will begin.
  • We're speaking to Freedom Edits to explore the option of using their services as an option for culling and editing images. We’ll share information on the process and pricing when it is available.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Tuesday, November 23rd.

Update on Tuesday, November 16th:

  • We have officially contracted a former Glasser employee who has begun helping us reconcile records.
  • Photographer outreach to understand the location and editing status of files began this week.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Friday, November 19th.

Update on Friday, November 12th:

  • We are in the process of contracting a former Glasser Images employee to help obtain the missing information we need to proceed.
  • Once the contractor has been procured and the missing information starts to come in, photographer outreach (to identify the location and status of files) will begin, hopefully next week.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Tuesday, November 16th.

Update on Tuesday, November 9th:

  • We are still awaiting information from Glasser Images that will inform how each event can be handled, and we will reach out to each photographer via email as soon as we have the necessary information to determine how to proceed.
  • While we cannot provide you with legal advice, our current understanding is that if you have not been paid by Glasser Images for your photography services for an event, you may still own the copyright of the photographs. In that instance, it would be appropriate for you to reach out to the end client to discuss the editing and/or delivery of their photographs. We encourage you to review your contract with Glasser Images and seek independent legal advice if needed. Additionally, we are happy to help connect you with the end clients if you do not have a way to contact them directly.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Friday, November 12th.

Update on Friday, November 5th:

  • We've completed our audit of event and client data and reconciled the data we received from Glasser Images, confirming the primary photographer and end client for each event.
  • All inbound emails received have been responded to by our Support team.
  • At this time, we’re waiting on photographer payment status information from Glasser, which will help us determine how each job is handled.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Tuesday, November 9th.

Update on Tuesday, November 2nd:

  • We're making progress working through files of event and client data provided by Glasser Images. We estimate we're approximately 25% of the way through this process and are aiming to complete it by the end of this week. Once completed we will begin reaching out to photographers directly to better understand the current status of each job they were assigned, including, but not limited to, the current location and processing state (culled, edited, etc.) of images.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Friday, November 5th.

Update on Friday, October 29th:

  • We have established a project team to work on this project for the remainder of 2021. This is a top priority for us, but due to the amount of work involved, we anticipate it could take several weeks to complete. We appreciate your patience while we complete our initial research and planning.
  • We have started reviewing data files received from Glasser Images containing information on all jobs, including the contact information for the assigned photographers (including 2nd shooters), editors, and end clients. These files are helpful but require some manual work to clean up into a format that we can work with more efficiently. This work has begun.

Our next update will be no later than 5pm ET on Tuesday, November 2nd.
